Roman Nowak and myself connected on Twitter in 2016. Through our interactions we wanted to make a greater impact on the world, in particular the education world, with regard to kindness. So began the #BeKindEDU movement. 

Collaborating with educators all around the world on Sunday evenings for the #BeKindEDU chat was a great forum for making connections, raising awareness, and having great conversation and learning opportunities around topics that taught collaborators to lead with kindness and lead with heart in the world. 

Though the chat is no longer in active, the movement continues through passion projects and many of the connections made.
